My Story:

I believe that my strongest personal attribute is my dedication to successfully complete whatever I have chosen to do, and, as a result, the example I set for others. When I commit myself to an activity, I always follow through, regardless of whether others are dependent on the results of my actions. I perceive quitting as a sign of weakness or lack of determination. With my 100% commitment to whatever I’m doing – school, sports, or anything else – others can rely on me to do my best. This work ethic is what has enabled my successes. I know my potential, and I don’t allow myself to do anything less. As a result, I have excelled in academics, with my 4.6 GPA and National Merit Finalist status; in sports, with leadership roles as captain of my hockey team, MVP of my track team, and state qualifier for track and cross country; and in the community, with my hundreds of hours of volunteer service.
